Our Showroom Model
If you are thinking of stepping into the wonderful world of Lacanche and want to find out more, book an appointment at our Bridport showroom at North Mills Trading Estate. We will be there to talk you through the process of building your made-to-order Lacanche, helping you choose the model, ovens and hobs that’s right for you. To aid you in your decisions, our showroom has a Classic Citeaux model on display, so you can see the set up of a Lacanche in person.
Our showroom model is from Lacanche’s Classic range, every design element drawing impeccably from tradition. The Citeaux is one of Lacanche’s most popular cookers and has a width of 1505mm, meaning it is large enough for two integrated hob options. This model is in Frangipane, one of the 29 shades of Lacanche enamel.
The Ovens
The Citeaux model has two vertical 65l ovens with swing doors, a central 79l oven with a drop down door, and a pan drawer.
When building your own Lacanche Citeaux, you will have a choice of three different oven configurations. Here, we have chosen to have all our ovens as fan assisted, but the right side oven can be a simmer oven, and the central can be chosen as gas or static electric.
The Hob
Citeaux models have a choice between three standard hob options and a further two integrated hobs. Our showroom model has a simmer plate and two ringed gas burner for the standard option, while alternative options would be 3 or 4 ringed gas burners or a 3 ringed induction plate. For the integrated hob, our model has induction rings and an electric griddle, two of the ten choices available to you. The variety of choices we have made for our showroom model means that it is a hugely versatile hob, suitable for a myriad of different cooking techniques.
The Trim
Our showroom model has a Brass trim, which means the pan drawer handles, controls knobs, handrail end caps and badge all are finished with brass.
Classic models also have the choice of Stainless Steel, Chrome, Chrome Matt or Nickel, while Modern trims have a simpler design and come in Chrome or Stainless Steel.
