Lacanche Hobs
Lacanche hobs are truly some of the most versatile out there. Depending on the size of your cooker, you can add elements and make precise choices that would be otherwise impossible with less personalised cookers. Each model comes with a choice of between 2 and 4 different standard hob types, so no matter the model, you can choose whether you’d like gas burners, simmer plates or electric induction rings. In addition to these standard hobs, cookers over 1m have an extra and very exciting choice of between one and four integrated hob types. Whether you want a four ringed gas hob for family cooking or fryers, griddles and multi cookers for more adventurous catering, the process of building your Lacanche cooker empowers you to tick off every item of your wish list.
Standard Hobs
Classic
The Classic hobs have open gas burners with a stainless steel top, flame failure device and child proof controls. Depending on the model type, Classic hobs have 3, 4, 5, and in some cases 6 burners.
Traditional
Traditional hobs have open gas burners and a removable simmer plate. The simmer plate can hold different pans at the same time for low heat cooking. Depending on the model, there are 2 or 4 burners in addition to the simmer plate.
Induction
The third option is an easily controllable, fast-heating induction hob. Depending on the model, this can come with 3, 5 or 6 rings.
Integrated Hob Options
Lacanche cookers over 1 metre in length have room for an integrated hob element, allowing you to choose additions suitable for your cooking habits.

Gas Chargrill
The Gas Chargrill is an integrated hob option for all models over 1m except Chalonnais, Savigny and Saulieu. It has variable power settings, adjustable height and a cooking surface of 260 x 240mm. A superb option for barbequing meats and vegetables, so you can have that authentic bbq flavour on even the rainiest of days.
Electric Griddle (Plancha)
The Electric Griddle, or Plancha, is an integrated hob option for all models over 1m. The stainless steel cooking surface of 245 x 460mm runs at 2.2kW and is controlled via a thermostat. Perfect for griddling and searing anything from fish to a bacon and egg breakfast.
Extra Rings

All models over 1m have the option of adding additional rings to your hob. The two ringed induction hob allows for fast heating and excellent control, while the gas burners come with three different power options. The two ringed 3kW open burners allow for low temperature cooking and simmering, and the two ringed 4kW burners are perfect for larger pans and rapid heating. The singular 5kw burner is ideal for large pans and woks. All burners have a flame failure safety device and electric ignition.
