Ordering your Aga

We believe in hands on personal service with an experience and product tailored completely to you. We are not an off the shelf company; all our Agas are made fully and completely for you and you alone. So how to get started?…

1. Choose your model

Not sure where to begin? We love to talk Agas! Contact us via phone or email and we will help find the best model for your home and lifestyle.

We will discuss the particular features of your home - draughty and unheated? Modern and well insulated? We’ll ask about your lifestyle - out at work all day, retired or working from home? Do you have ravenous teenagers to feed at a moments notice or do you cook for 1 but want the capacity to entertain from time to time? We’ll talk about what matters to you - do you need low running costs? Year round flexibility? Or the capacity to dry endless sodden outdoor gear? We will have a detailed discussion (or many discussions - we’ll help you through your journey, no matter how long that may take) to help you find the right fit.

2. Receive your quote

After our early discussions we will send you a personalised quote with precise detail on what you will be getting for your outlay.

In the meantime, our website offers a guide to pricing - prices displayed are a base price including local installation. For installations further afield additional charges may apply. Or we can provide on a supply and delivery basis, arranging installation on your behalf with trusted industry colleagues if required.

3. Choose your colours

We will send you complimentary enamel colour samples to test at home or take to the kitchen showroom to help build your cohesive look.

Looking for a colour match? Send us a paint sample or item in a colour you love and we can send for laboratory matching.

4. Customise your order

At this stage we will send you our Bespoke Menu, enabling you to build your cooker to your specifications. For some models this will include a choice of style and age - pre or post 74, chrome catch or enamel catch, standard model etc.

You will choose your badge style and lid style, whether to match your lid bands to your front plate colour, perhaps even a different colour top plate? For Standard model Agas you will choose the blanking plate style, whether to add a decorative tap and much more with our special Aga Standards Menu.

5. Add your special finishes

As standard our prices include chrome fixings, however our custom finishes (additional cost) include:

Gold - 24 carat, rose, green gold, white gold or colour matched (to a tap or handle or other metallic feature). High shine, brushed or satin.

Brass - High shine or antique

Copper

Nickel - Polished or brushed

Black Chrome

6. Add any plinth or additional venting

If a plinth is required or additional flue work and venting, we’ll price this all up for you too.

6. Let’s get some dates in the diary!

We can book in a date for you at any stage of the process. Lead times vary seasonally but a 10-12 week lead is usual for preparation of the enamel. Occasionally shorter lead times can be achieved with stock items. Let us know if you are in a desperate hurry and we will do our best to accommodate where possible.

7. Deposit

We will invoice for a 50% deposit when a date is booked. At this stage your Aga will be sent for re enamelling and conversion kits or special finishes ordered and prepared.

8. Site guidance and documentation

We will provide full site guidance and technical documentation. Complimentary site surveys can be offered in our area or for those further afield, we can conduct via zoom. We will liaise with any other trades as needed -including your interior designer, architect or kitchen designer and your electrician, flue specialist or builder. We are here to answer questions throughout the process and will ask for photos and check list completion to ensure that all is ready for our arrival.

9. Installation day

Your Aga will be built on site over the course of a day by our team (TC / DC models are delivered whole as per factory guidance). An Electrickit or eControl build may take as little as 4 or 5 hours, whilst a traditional build will take 8-12 or more - we are meticulous in our build standards and will not leave until we are satisfied that your Aga is built and levelled to perfection and properly connected and commissioned.

You will be provided with an installation pack including any instruction manuals, starter guides and leaflets.

10. Warranties and certification

We will send you warranty papers and any relevant certification for Gas Safe, Oftec etc.

11. Balance invoice

On installation day or shortly after your balance invoice will be issued.

12. Follow up Services

All warranty work will be undertaken by ourselves or trusted industry colleagues depending on area. We offer servicing and maintenance and hope to look after the cookers we supply and install for many years to come.

We offer a range of cookery demonstrations to help you gain the most from your Aga and are fully available by phone and e-mail to talk through any queries or issues you encounter. Our cook shop offers a full range of Aga essentials, cookware and textiles to complement your new cooker.
